The historic Saigon Central Post Office, which has long been one of the city's symbols, continues to offer postal services such as mailing and money exchange to-date. One interesting fact about the Post Office is that it was designed and constructed by the renowned French architect Alexandre Gustave Eiffel, who is best known for the eponymous Eiffel Tower. Eiffel derived artistic inspiration from Western neoclassical architecture and Asian decor styles before harmoniously fusing them during the construction of the Central Post Office.

This mill is one of at least 10 hydraulic constructions erected along the "Ribera de los Molinos" (The Mills Riverbank) in the 16th century. This building, popularly known as The Wide Mill, is one of the best preserved sections of this waterway and offers visitors a chance to learn about its architecture and history.

The City Tourist Route is a 7-km-long loop which connects 42 sites – the most interesting monuments and places worthseeing. The idea behind the route was to commemorate the 750th anniversary of granting town privileges to Szczecin. The route is marked by an easily found red dotted line painted on the pavement, and thus the common name of the trail is the “Red Route”. Numbers in circles act as supplementary signs corresponding to each site on the route. Near to each number an information board with a detailed description of the object is either suspended on the wall of the building or standing alone. A pocket guidebook published in various languages, including a map of the route, can be purchased at the tourist information centres, the local seat of Polish Tourist and Sightseeing Society and in bookstores. Two kilometres from the town of Cuneo, Sanctuary Madonna della Riva rises 530 metres above sea level. A number of processions from different areas have taken place in the sanctuary. The painting of Madonna and Child with Saint Francis is one example of the priceless treasures that the sanctuary keeps.
