There are a lot of activities for both children and adults at Takino Suzaran Hillside Park. In the winter, you can go sledding and tubing or skiing on a gentle slope. Start your walk across the mudflats from Town Beach about an hour before low tide and head southeast. The walk should take you about 30 minutes. Make sure to wear footwear to protect your feet from sharp shells and other sea creatures.
