The Alnö Old Church is a medieval church built in the latter part of the 12th century. The church served two purposes: as a place of worship and as a defensive structure. Today, it stands as one of the oldest and best-preserved churches, popular in the summer for baptisms and weddings. Nearby lies Alnö Hembygdsgård, with its exhibitions on Alnö's local history.

There are two waterfalls in the vicinity of Nha Trang, both of which make for excellent excursions into nature. Ba Ho Falls, at a distance of roughly 30km north of central Nha Trang, are the falls that attract most visitors. You will need a ride to reach the entrance to the natural area (get a taxi or Grab). Bring swimwear, sturdy shoes (not flip-flops), and your own water. Note that water volumes may vary dramatically depending on whether you visit during or outside the dry season (January through August). Another option is Fairy Spring Waterfalls (Suối Tiên), mostly favoured by local youth. These are much smaller compared to Ba Ho, but there is still an opening fit for swimming. There is a small admission fee to visit both falls.

Experience Wollongong's gorgeous beaches along a splendid stretch of coast. From Stanwell Park in the north to Windang in the south, the Wollongong area is blessed with many beaches. Coalcliff Beach attracts families to its rock pool, uncrowded Coledale has a relaxed vibe and Austinmer is a longtime favourite because of its rock pools and ocean baths. The most popular beaches are North Wollongong Beach and Wollongong City Beach. Both have great waves as well as wading pools, cycle paths, barbecues and parks offering respite from the sun.

At the Nordvegen History Centre and Viking Settlement you can be a viking for a day. This authentic Viking Village and the History Centre at Avaldsnes give you the opportunity to see and feel the life of the Scandinavian Vikings that lived here a thousand years ago.
