The ancient fort of Za'abal isn't just an attraction but provides bird's eye views of Sakakah city spread out below. From here, travellers will be able to take in the cityscape dominated by low-rise buildings and palm trees, as well as the historic quarter of Al-Dhel’ below.

For breathtaking views of Funchal, look no further than Pico do Arieiro. At 1,818 metres high, it is Madeira's third-highest peak. Hikers can expect a stunning panorama of the island and a dramatic view of the clouds rolling below their feet. On clear days, the neighbouring island of Porto Santo can be seen to the northeast. Put on your hiking boots and climb up the summit, or simply go by car.

Around an hour outside Málaga, this cliffside path takes you through narrow walkways, deep gorges, and a high suspension bridge at the end. It’s about 8 km one-way and takes a few hours, depending on your pace. It used to be known as dangerous, but it’s now rebuilt and safe, with handrails and a clear path the whole way. You’ll need to book ahead, and there’s a shuttle at the end that takes you back to where you started. The views are what people come for — steep rock faces, bright blue water, and huge open skies.
