This Romanesque Cathedral was built in the 12th century on the plan of a former Christian basilica and it's the biggest one in the Dalmatian region. Behind the ornamented facade, remains of frescoes and a carved choir decorate the interiors of the church. From the top of the bell tower visitors can enjoy views of the old town below.

Since opening more than 80 years ago, the Detroit Zoo has been a leader in innovative animal care and conservation. This gorgeous Russian Orthodox church is located in central Sofia. It was built by Russia after the liberation of Bulgaria. The grave of Saint Archbishop Seraphim is located under the main floor - believers still visit for pilgrimages, leaving notes with wishes and prayers.
