Just north of Val de Reuil you can find Biotropica, a park full of exciting animals and a tropical greenhouse. This is the perfect place to bring the children for a daily excursion and some great fun.

Home to the most important treasures of the Nature Isle, Morne Trois Pitons covers an area of nearly 7000 hectares, and is only a 20-minute drive from Roseau. It is dotted by emblematic sights such as the Emerald Pool, the twin cascades of Trafalgar Falls, and the Titou Gorge, where scenes from the Pirates of the Caribbean were filmed. The park exemplifies the amazing natural diversity of Dominica and is a central area for the island's volcanic activities, the highlight of which is Boiling Lake — a fumarole that heats up to 90 °C.

Even though Georgians are not the biggest fans of their Soviet heritage, this great example of Tbilisi 70s brutalism must not be missed. Built on steep slopes in Nutsubidze street, it is one of the quirkiest constructions you will ever see. The three apartment blocks are connected by a bridge that goes through them. From the sky bridge, you can also see a nice view of the residential parts of Tbilisi. Once you are up and walk through the bridge, turn right and take a walk down the winding streets and admire a Caucasian architectural know-how: semi-legal additions to residential blocks of all shapes, sizes and materials.
