Shanghai

Shanghai is the shiniest gem in modern China’s jewel box. It’s a hip, contemporary city charging into the future with all the energy of its famous Maglev train. Toulon

Toulon is a genuine incarnation of Provence—no over-the-top souvenir shops, just markets full of lavender and thyme, a sea breeze that rolls in from the harbour, and a mix of energy and laid-back local life. It’s a working port with a bit of grit, but that’s part of the charm.

George Town

Primarily known as a financial hub, George Town is also a prime destination for cruise ships. The capital city of the Cayman Islands is just 10 minutes away from the long crescent of the famous Seven Mile Beach with blindingly white coral sand. There is no better place to enjoy submarine and glass-bottom boat tours, try snorkelling, scuba-diving or parasailing. Get your credit card ready for some serious tax-free shopping, and don't leave without trying the remarkable sunken rum.

Olbia

Olbia is the gateway to the pearly white beaches of Sardinia's northeast coast and the sparkling Costa Smeralda. This is where jet-setters, film stars and the ‘glitterati’ arrive to indulge in 'la dolce vita' Sardinian-style. With a Greek name meaning ‘happy’, Olbia used to be a little fishing village but has now grown to become Sardinia’s busiest ferry port, complete with an international airport and tourist amenities. The countryside is cloaked in aromatic wild herbs, the macchia, and the surrounding sea glows in every hue of electric blue, in a little known and exclusive place waiting to be discovered.

Cambridge

Cambridge is a city oozing with history and tradition at every turn. The cityscape is dominated by the university, with its 31 colleges and their extensive green gardens, known as the "Backs", spread throughout the city. Faro

Faro serves as the Algarve's historic capital, where traditional Portuguese architecture meets the region's natural coastal beauty. Beyond the city limits, the Ria Formosa's lagoon system creates a protected habitat for migratory birds, while sandy barrier islands stretch along the Atlantic coast. La Palma

La Palma, nicknamed La Isla Bonita (The Beautiful Island), is the greenest of the Canary Islands. Lake Balaton
