The Missouri Botanical Garden is the nation's oldest botanical garden, having been established in 1859. The National Historic Landmark is 79 acres of horticultural wonders, research and science education, with a 14-acre Japanese garden.

Wandering through Malaga’s Old Town is one of the best ways to get a feel for the city. Despite its compact size, the Sharjah Heritage Museum offers visitors a comprehensive insight into the Emirate's history, culture, and traditions—and how those transformed over the past ages. Clothing, musical instruments, coins, pottery, and various other artefacts are on display.
