Skyline Wilderness Park isn’t a state park, so this beautiful property remains a bit of a hidden treasure on the edge of Napa. With over 16 miles of trails for hiking, biking, and horseback riding, it’s a perfect spot to explore lush riparian ravines, oak woodlands, and chaparral-covered hills.

Built in the early 1400s, around the same time as the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven was where emperors prayed for good harvests. The vast park contains several ceremonial buildings, the most striking being the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests with its blue-tiled roof and intricate wooden ceiling. The original hall was destroyed by lightning in 1889 but rebuilt soon after. Other highlights include the Hall of Abstinence, where emperors fasted before rituals, and the Circular Mound Altar — a three-tiered marble platform symbolising heaven itself. Today, the park is as much about everyday life as it is about history: locals gather here in the mornings for tai chi, dancing, and music.

Dragsö Camping & Stugby is an idyllic campsite situated on its own island, just 3km from Karlskrona city. Connected to the mainland by a bridge, or accessible by the scenic archipelago boat, Dragsö offers an ideal family retreat. The campsite caters to all ages, boasting activities such as an adventurous mini-golf course, opportunities for canoeing, diving, snorkelling, and a pirate-themed playground for the little ones. Dragsö's shores are adorned with excellent beaches, inviting visitors to enjoy the sun and surf or opt for a refreshing swim from the rocks.

Adjacent to the Al Aqsa Mosque, the Islamic Museum is dedicated to Islamic history and different Muslim religions. The building once belonged to the Knights Templar. The museum boasts as many as 600 Qur'an copies from various eras, each of them with an interesting history and different decorations. Other exhibits display traditional furnishings, weapons, and historical objects.
