Set in the heart of Cinquantenaire Park, the museum offers visitors a rich and varied view of our past from pre-history to the 20th century

There is a world hidden in Turin’s underground made of an extended system of tunnels built in the XVI century to resist the French siege. Tour Pietro Micca Museum to see in the same tunnels where the battle was fought. It is an inspiring trip to the past and a perfect occasion to see a one-of-a-kind military structure, but certainly it is not advisable for claustrophobics.

Parco del Valentino is a big public park right in the city centre, next to the river Po. Colourful flower beds, a small stream with wooden bridges and monumental fountains create a peaceful oasis amid the city. During spring and summer, you can chill all day long and well into the evening. The stately Castello del Valentino is the focal point of the park. Within the park, you'll find Borgo Medievale — an open-air museum and reconstructed medieval village and castle. This zoo was made world famous by The Crocodile Hunter himself — Steve Irwin. Although best known for its crocodiles and crocodile feedings, the zoo also features wildlife from all around Australia and the world over, including koalas, tigers, and even the possibility of hand-feeding a kangaroo.
