Golden Sands is famous for its stunning golden sand and expansive beaches along the Black Sea. It's located 18 kilometres north of Varna, close to Golden Sands National Park. The resort boasts several kilometres of beachfront. The southern end is the more recently developed and less crowded, while the northern end features numerous bars and small shops. You can reach Golden Sands by public transport. Bus number 109 connects Varna city centre to the resort, although the journey typically takes a little over an hour. Taxis are also available, but they tend to be on the pricier side.

Erected ahead of a Roman Emperor's visit in 130 AD, Hadrian's Gate offers a grand entry to Antalya's historic district. As the sole surviving gateway of the city's ancient protective walls, this triumphal arch embodies the rich past of Antalya, once known as Attaleia. Today, the gate stands on Atatürk Caddesi, bridging the bustling modern city and the charming old town of Kaleiçi, a testament to Antalya's long history and architectural prowess.

The Varna lighthouse is easily accessible on foot, about a 20-minute walk from the eastern port. Once there, you can enjoy panoramic views of Varna Beach, Bulgarian navigation ships, and the bustling port. It remains an interesting landmark, where graffiti artists have left their mark on the structure, adding a layer of urban character.

Downtown Bridgetown has been part of the UNESCO World Heritage since 2012 (along with the Garrison). You can start your walk at Independence Square with its fountains and columns and cross Chamberlain Bridge. You will then arrive at National Heroes Square (formerly known as Trafalgar Square) at the northern shore of the Careenage. From here you can explore the streets, getting a glimpse of colonial buildings here and there.
