Tabernas, Europe's sole desert, is home to the Oasys Mini Hollywood Theme Park. While its main attraction is the sets of numerous American Western films, the park also features live performances, a zoo, guided tours, and swimming pool areas. Additionally, the park also provides dining options and workshops tailored for young children.

AlMaqta'a Fort is a watchtower built over 200 years ago to protect the sea crossing from the mainland to Abu Dhabi. Constructed in traditional style with soft sand-coloured stone and ornately carved wooden features, it remains almost intact and serves as an important testament to the city's past. The building functions as a small museum displaying artefacts from the 1950s to the 1970s, while also presenting the history of the nearby Maqtaa Bridge. It offers a brief but interesting insight into the area’s past and the development of one of Abu Dhabi’s earliest crossings.

St Kilda is one of the liveliest and most colourful areas of Melbourne right on the Hobsons Bay. Acland and Fitzroy streets are the main roads with bars, restaurants and shops. The cake shops are just too tempting! St Kilda Beach is a popular spot for late afternoon walks and for watching the sunset.

Inland from the town lies the fertile plain of Kambos, an area of olive groves, citrus orchards, almond trees and patchwork fields divided by stone walls and country lanes. Under the Giustiniani, this rich hinterland was the domain of wealthy Genoese landowners and many of their substantial stone mansions can still be seen – some have been turned into holiday homes by wealthy Athenians, while a few have been converted into comfortable guesthouses.
