A green oasis in the middle of the thick urban landscape, the beautiful island-park of Stanley Park spans 400 hectares. The park is not only the world’s largest uninterrupted waterfront path, but also a measure against flood risk. When construction on Stanley Seawall began in 1917, its design was intended as a measure of flood protection along the waterfront edge of Vancouver’s Stanley Park. The park expertly combines environmental resilience with everyday recreational use. Today, it is home to kilometers of trails, beautiful beaches and numerous landmarks. It is without a doubt one of the most beloved spots in the city for both pedestrians and cyclists.

Saddleback Ranch gives you the opportunity to feel like a cowboy for a day, or at least for a few hours. They offer horseback rides all year long, and sleigh rides, tubing, and snowmobile tours in the winter. In the summer, they offer cattle drives, wagon rides, and ATV tours.

Bill Spectre's Ghost Trail is an entertainment walking tour of old Oxford which is conducted by a costumed professional actor. The touring activity is illustrated with props and illusions as it horrifyingly entertains the visitors through the streets of the historic city Oxford. The tour takes place every Friday and Saturday at 6:30pm and additional tours at the usual times on Sundays during July and August.

The exposition of the Steamboat Art Museum may appear modest by international standards, but the compact museum is certainly your best bet if art of Northern Colorado is something you would be interested in learning more about. Exhibitions are renewed frequently.
