The Homestead Park in Ängelholm is a family-friendly retreat. With a zoo that highlights native Swedish animals and five museums that spring to life in the summer, there's something for everyone. Young children can play to their heart's content in the expansive playground, while visitors can also delight in summer stage performances, dine at the inn, or treat themselves at the ice-cream stall.

Home to the most important treasures of the Nature Isle, Morne Trois Pitons covers an area of nearly 7000 hectares, and is only a 20-minute drive from Roseau. It is dotted by emblematic sights such as the Emerald Pool, the twin cascades of Trafalgar Falls, and the Titou Gorge, where scenes from the Pirates of the Caribbean were filmed. The park exemplifies the amazing natural diversity of Dominica and is a central area for the island's volcanic activities, the highlight of which is Boiling Lake — a fumarole that heats up to 90 °C.

Once the residence of great Mughal royals, the fort calls for a slow-paced examination of its grounds, believed to contain some of Lahore's most ancient relics. Taking a guided tour is highly recommended (prices and duration negotiable). On-site museums include an armoury and painting exhibitions, along with a Mughal Gallery containing artefacts dating back to the era.
