Another popular area is Shinsaibashi. This area features not only some of the best fashion stores in the world but also a great nightlife and local food.

Stanislas National Forest, located fewer than two miles from Arnold, is nature at its most pristine. Camping, fishing, and traveling along the Stanislaus River are quite popular. People also take to hiking and horseback riding as additional activities.

Go on a safari tour at Eriksberg's Wildlife Park and see wild animals in their natural habitat. Red deer, fallow deer, Père David’s deer, European bison, wild boar and moufflon roam freely in this unique nature reserve in the archipelago. The tour goes through a fascinating rocky landscape of oak woodlands, dense hornbeam woodlands and knotty conifers. There is a rich bird life as well, and one of the world’s largest stocks of the protected red water lily. The park consists of more than 925 hectares, of which 409 hectares of water. The fenced portion is about 900 hectares, which means that Eriksberg is one of northern Europe's largest wildlife reserves.

A magnificent part of California's natural history since its discovery in 1885, Mercer Caverns is home to a wealthy variety of natural cave formations. Visitors are invited to take a tour of the caverns and view a variety of stalactites, stalagmites, draperies, columns, flowstone, helictites, and soda straws. Gaze upon delicate aragonite crystal formations at one of the cavern's deepest points, for which Mercer Caverns won a Grand Prize at the 1900 Paris World Exposition.
