The town square of Paralimni is dominated by the metropolitan, three-aisled church, dedicated to St George, the patron saint of the town. The church was finished in 1966 in a traditional Byzantine style and is full of contemporary frescoes. The impressive fresco which decorates the dome depicts the “All Powerful” surrounded by the Archangels, the Prophets and numerous saints. The gothic church of St George is located next to the metropolitan church in the main square of Paralimni. According to a marble inscription, it was erected in 1859 in the place of an older Byzantine church, parts of which have been incorporated in this one. Part of its northern wall is covered with a large fresco depicting St George killing a dragon.

Built across ten acres at the foot of the Santa Catalina Mountains, the buildings of DeGrazia Gallery in the Sun are veritable works of art in their own right. They house paintings by Ettore "Ted" DeGrazia and other artists. DeGrazia, who created the gallery in 1950, used his artwork to depict Arizona's life and people.

While Colossal Cave is this park's centerpiece, it is certainly not its only attraction. It is also home to museums, various species of animals, public trails, a butterfly garden, as well as camping and picnic areas. Some special events are organized during the year, like birding or walking tours.

Across from the Government Palace sits one of the city's historic jewels. Casa de Aliaga is not only the oldest colonial mansion in Lima, but also the oldest house in America, which was owned by Jerónimo de Aliaga since 1535, and still serves as a home for his descendants eighteen generations later. Richly decorated salons, vintage furnishings and some artefacts, including the sword used by Jerónimo de Aliaga when he conquered Peru are showcased here.
