Nha Trang is lined with an uninterrupted, fine stretch of sand: the Tran Phu Beach. This is the beach most used by both locals and tourists, with infrastructure such as changing rooms and bathrooms available throughout at a fee. Although the beach works great for recreation, it's far from being the area's cleanest and most attractive. Alternatives worth exploring include the Bai Dai Beach, frequented by surfers. Bai Tien Beach (stones rather than sand), beaches on nearby islands (such as Bai Tru on Hon Tre, and Hon Tam Island beach). The beautiful Diep Son Beach is known for the spectacular underwater sand path leading to the island (only seen in full during low tide). If you're ready to travel further out, Jungle Beach is a great option but will take a couple of hours to reach. Surrounded by nature and fascinating flora and fauna, this beach is popular with both off-the-beaten-trackers and resort vacationers staying at the nearby Jungle Beach Resort.

The Moselle Valley wine region spans France, Luxembourg, and Germany, with wineries closest to Luxembourg City located within less than a half-hour's drive from there. The scenic river valley offers abundant wine-tasting opportunities for Riesling and Elbling aficionados; tastings can be arranged at most local wineries, but contacting in advance to check for availability is recommended. If in doubt, try Caves du Sud in Remerschen, Caves St Martin or Caves Desom Saint-Remy in Remich, or Domaine Mathes and Domaine Alice Hartmann in Wormeldange. The region is also excellent hiking grounds, with hiking trails and cycling paths, with boat tours running along the Moselle.

In Bali, dance isn’t just for show—it’s how stories are told, spirits honoured, and traditions passed down. You’ll see hypnotic Legong and Joged dances, the dramatic Barong show (good vs. evil, Balinese-style), and scenes from the Ramayana brought to life through movement and gamelan music. For a classic experience, head to Batubulan for open-air Barong performances each morning. Wayang kulit (shadow puppet theatre) still pops up at art centres and during special festivals. Many hotels also host traditional shows most evenings—so it’s easy to catch one without much planning.

Despite its compact size, the Sharjah Heritage Museum offers visitors a comprehensive insight into the Emirate's history, culture, and traditions—and how those transformed over the past ages. Clothing, musical instruments, coins, pottery, and various other artefacts are on display.
