What sets this beach apart is its serenity, even during the peak summer months it remains remarkably uncrowded.

Highfields is a lovely park located close to Nottingham University Campus and is a well maintained park with magnificent trees, exotic plantings and water features. Boat hire, bowling, croquet, putting are some of the activities offered here. For the children there is a play area and a variety of events are organised here.
