This enormous, beautiful cathedral is located by the river and was designed by the architect Konstantin Ton. You can recognise the cathedral by its copper domes that dominate the skyline.

Gamla Stan, Stockholm's historic Old Town, is a fascinating district that transports visitors back in time with its cobblestone streets, medieval architecture, and rich cultural heritage. Strolling through Gamla Stan's narrow alleyways, you'll come across a treasure trove of well-preserved buildings, including the iconic Royal Palace and the renowned Storkyrkan Cathedral. The regional park Calblanque is a beautiful nature reserve with amazing sandy beaches, cliffs, and mountains. There is a small visitor centre where you can get more information about both flora and fauna, and routes for the hiking trails. Be aware, there are no facilities like cafés and restaurants here as this is a protected area.
