Situated on the southern tip of Florida, the Everglades is a vast wetland preserve spanning 1.5 million acres. It is the only subtropical wetland in North America and the only place in the world where alligators and crocodiles live side by side. As there is no public transportation to the park, renting a car or joining an organized boat or bus tour is the best way to get to this wildlife experience.

The Gibbes Museum of Art has between 6 and 8 exhibitions every year, including the permanent Charleston Story exhibit. The museum also offers lectures, tours and classes. After its renovation, the museum reopened again in 2016, transforming into an even more vivid cultural hot spot.

Vizcaya Museum and Gardens is an elegant 1916 waterfront estate featuring 32 beautifully decorated rooms and 10 acres of meticulously designed formal gardens. Visitors will be transported back in time as they stroll through the breathtaking European-style gardens. The breakwater, made of Florida limestone and adorned with ornate sculptures, is a must-see attraction, as well as the exhibitions and events hosted at the estate.

This impressive arts center hosts an opera house, a concert hall, a theatre, and an outdoor plaza that combined present a constant flow of world-class shows and performances.
