The Roman Theatre was built between the first and second century AD, on behalf of Quinto Petronio Modesto from Trieste and it can hold about 6,000 spectators. The statues that adorned the theatre are now preserved in the Town Museum.

If you love books you have to visit Biblioteca Queriniana. The architecture of the building is amazing and should be visited for at least a quick stop by everyone. The library was built in 1705 and is located right next to the old Cathedral. Take a few steps and listen to the books.

The seaside promenade extends for more than 4 kilometres, joining the area of Pernera with Fig Tree Bay, as well as Agios Nicolaos Harbor with Louma Beach.
