When exploring the historic city of Rimini, Piazza Cavour makes for an excellent starting point for your walk. This square, once a bustling marketplace, has evolved into one of the city's vibrant social hubs. You'll find an array of bars and shops adorning its periphery. Along one side of the square, you'll encounter some remarkable historical buildings, including Palazzo Garampi, Palazzo Arengo, and Palazzo Podestà. At the heart of it all stands the Fontana della Pigna, which, in its current form, serves as a testament to the enduring history of this place, as it dates back to Roman times.

Considered a gem of historical interior design, the Audubon House is a restoration project which is furnished as a replica of a prosperous 1800s Key West home. The constructor and first owner of the house was one of the ten most affluent men in the Florida Keys during this time. Both the house and its tropical garden give the visitor a glimpse of everyday life in a rich man's home of the mid-19th century. It has a cookhouse, a gift shop and a herb garden alongside 200 blooming orchids.

Architect of a form of non-violent civil disobedience, Gandhi was a spiritual and political leader whose influence stirred a nation, if not the world. The Gandhi Museum, once house of the man who defined modern India, now preserves his memory by showing, every now and again, films about Gandhi and his speeches and guarding a library partly dedicated to his importance.
