Square Mathon is for those who are interested in taking a glimpse into the past. The square is where some of the remaining pieces of the old Brest city wall and the ancient gate are contained; there is also a stone-carved map that shows the city the way it once was.

The Jordan Museum offers a chronological journey through 1.5 million years of history, from Paleolithic tools to modern Jordanian culture. As the country’s premier cultural institution, it houses globally significant artefacts like the 9,700-year-old ‘Ain Ghazal statues — the world’s oldest human figurines — and fragments of the Dead Sea Scrolls. Exhibits pair these treasures with bilingual (English/Arabic) narratives that contextualise Jordan’s archaeological legacy without overwhelming casual visitors. The museum’s modern galleries balance education and aesthetics, with interactive displays and temporary exhibitions ensuring fresh perspectives. Allot two hours to appreciate its dual role as research hub and national showcase.

The recently inaugurated green oasis (the Indian capital's version of Central Park) features Delhi's first arboretum, with multiple species of trees (including a Bonsai House), plants, birds and butterflies. Mughal architecture dating back to the 16th century still remains on park grounds, along with the adjacent Humayun's Tomb. The city zoo is not too far from here; future plans include linking the two to one another to create one vast recreational expanse.

It is hard to say what is the coast's biggest attraction, the great surfing spots or the amazing views. Whichever is your cup of tea, do not miss this excellent waterside area.
