Randers Egnsteater is an independent theatre, established in 2000, and it arranges more than 300 professional shows – both own productions and guest shows – for children, adults and families each year. With its shows of high professional and challenging artistic quality, this theatre also cooperates with Randers Chamber Orchestra, and the Cultural Historic Museum.

Moored in San Pedro, the Battleship USS Iowa Museum lets you wander through one of the most magnificent and surprisingly personal pieces of U.S. naval history. Known as the “Battleship of Presidents,” the Iowa once carried FDR across the Atlantic and later served through WWII, Korea, and the Cold War. As you move through the ship’s narrow corridors and out onto the decks, you get a real sense of what life was like for the crew: giant gun turrets towering overhead, cramped bunks stacked in rows, and glimpses of the command centers that once buzzed with activity. Veteran volunteers are often on hand to share stories or point out easy-to-miss details.

Τhe Traditional Cypriot House is located in the old centre of Paralimni. It was built in the 19th century and has been carefully renovated to maintain its distinctive character. Its traditional arches together with the local flowers planted in its fore-yard make the house particularly beautiful. Household utensils and farming tools used by a typical rural family of the region are on display in the three rooms as well as in the courtyard. Besides serving as a museum, the house is at the disposal of couples wishing to have a traditional backdrop for their wedding.
