Dennis Highlands Golf Course, opened in 1984, offers a scenic and challenging experience for golfers of all levels. Indian Lands Conservation Area, a 25-acre coastal haven of woodlands and marshes, harbors a unique winter tradition. Each year, the Nobscussett Indian community returns to their ancestral home along the shores of Bass River, where they erect wigwams and reside until spring. The arrival of spring brings a vibrant display of Lady Slipper Orchids to the river's meadows, signaling the end of their winter stay. Explore this natural sanctuary and witness the enduring connection between the Nobscussett people and their ancestral lands.

This is Dallas' largest cultural center with eight museums, an IMAX Theater, a planetarium, the Dallas Aquarium, the Cotton Bowl, an outdoor amphitheater and a Music Hall showing Broadway shows, ballet and opera. There are also plenty of rides for all ages here. In addition over one hundred special events and cultural festivals take place here each year.
