Piedmont is one of the richest regions in Italy when it comes to wine. In particular, a large part of the production is concentrated in the Langhe area, reachable in one hour by bus, train or car from Turin. Opened in 2008, the Museum of Eastern Art displays the biggest collection of Asian art and crafts in Italy. It is located in the Quadrilatero neighbourhood, in the ancient Mazzoni Palace. The exhibitions here are varied and change often, taking advantage of the 2200 artefacts that represent cultural and artistic traditions of the Asian continent.

Traces of the old city walls can still be found all around Zadar, with some sections dating back to the Middle Ages and a greater part built during the Venetian control over the city as a fortification against the Turks. Beside some portions of the previous walls, eight gates used as entrances to the city remain, of which the most elaborate is the one known as Land Gate. Located just in front of the little Foša harbour, Land Gate is adorned with some of the finest Dalmatian Renaissance-style decorations, including representations of Saint Chrysogonus and the lion of St Mark.

A narrow road twists steeply up from Teelin to the dramatic Slieve League mountain and cliffs on the southwest coast of Donegal. The cliffs are some of the highest in Europe and are considerably higher than the more famous Cliffs of Moher. For the experienced walker, One Man’s pass will take you to Slieve League's summit. For the leisure visitor, there is a viewing platform from which you can see one of the finest views of the Atlantic Ocean, the Sligo Mountains and Donegal Bay.
