Orranäs Glasbruk, revitalising Orrefors' rich glassmaking heritage, offers a captivating experience. It's a place where mammoth glass creations come to life amidst lush plants. Here, visitors can engage in glassblowing, through master classes and special dinner events. Explore the Orrefors museum, showcasing historical to contemporary glass art, and browse the store for exquisite designs. The site also features Sweden's first phytopark, a testament to sustainable beauty.

The City Tourist Route is a 7-km-long loop which connects 42 sites – the most interesting monuments and places worthseeing. The idea behind the route was to commemorate the 750th anniversary of granting town privileges to Szczecin. The route is marked by an easily found red dotted line painted on the pavement, and thus the common name of the trail is the “Red Route”. Numbers in circles act as supplementary signs corresponding to each site on the route. Near to each number an information board with a detailed description of the object is either suspended on the wall of the building or standing alone. A pocket guidebook published in various languages, including a map of the route, can be purchased at the tourist information centres, the local seat of Polish Tourist and Sightseeing Society and in bookstores. Bergdala is the only glassworks that still has a blowing room made entirely of wood. Visitors are welcome in to experience the genuine blowing room environment. Here, the beloved classic 'Blå Kant' (clear glass with the blue edge at the top) is manufactured, along with new designs by young designers. As a visitor, you're welcome to step inside and experience the authentic glassworks environment, and enjoy the spectacle of craftsmen shaping molten glass. Adjacent to the studio, you'll find the shop, where you can buy a range of art glass, Bergdala's traditional products, and new items at factory prices.

Kyrenia Castle, situated at the entrance of a picturesque harbour, is a remarkable historical site dating back to the 7th century. Originally built by the Byzantines and modified by various conquerors throughout the centuries, the castle offers you a captivating glimpse into Cyprus's past. As you walk along the ramparts, you can enjoy stunning views of the harbour and explore the castle's cistern, dungeon, chapel and two small museums. One of the castle's most intriguing attractions is the Kyrenia Shipwreck Museum, housing the remains of a 4th century Greek merchant ship discovered in Cypriot waters. Believed to have sunk around 300 BC, the ship's cargo included amphorae, almonds, grain, wine and millstones from the Greek islands of Samos, Rhodes and Kos. The museum offers a unique opportunity for you to explore an ancient shipwreck and its well-preserved artefacts, providing insight into maritime history and trade during the time of Alexander the Great and his successors.
