After taking in the beauty of Emerald Bay, head down to the historic Vikingsholm Castle. Built in 1929 as a summer home for Lora Josephine Knight, this remarkable structure showcases stunning Scandinavian architectural design, complete with intricate woodwork and natural stone. The 38-room mansion has undergone several renovations to preserve its unique features and historical significance. Guided tours are available during the summer months, offering insights into the castle's history and its picturesque surroundings, including Fannette Island, which sits just offshore.

Here you'll not only get to admire some of the most beautiful locally produced bead jewellery, but also get the chance to visit the onsite workshop, presenting guests with the history of the factory which has been employing Kenyan women in need since 1975.

The world-famous Ice Hotel is located in Jukkasjärvi, 17 km from Kiruna. The world’s largest hotel of its kind, made out of thousands of tonnes of snow and ice, is rebuilt every winter. You’ll be nice and cool as you sleep after a drink in the Icebar, beautifully chiselled out of pure blue ice from the River Torne. Open from mid-December to the end of April. In the summer, you can experience ice art in the hotel’s Art Centre.
