First of its kind in Romania, the Fabrica de Pensule is a contemorary art space that was conceived as a place to play host to various cultural happenings and bring together creators willing to showcase their – sometimes rather experimental – artwork within its walls.

The seaside promenade is a lovely hiking trail along the coast in central Karlshamn. It is about 2 kilometres long and starts at the statue of the emigrants, Karl Oskar and Kristina, in Näsviken. The hiking trail goes all the way out to Vägga fishing harbour, where you'll find a smokehouse, fish restaurant, café, and campsite. Along the trail, there are several public barbecue spots and places with great views to enjoy. Along the way, you'll also pass by Cafe Villa Utsikten (only open in the summer, but a very nice viewpoint all year round), paddle courts, Väggabadet (swimming pools) and Karlshamn’s Kallbadhus (outdoor swimming bath).

It's a 3-kilometre uphill hike from Puerto de Tazacorte to this excellent viewing platform, from where sweeping vistas of the La Palma coastline and settlements unfold. There is a panoramic cafe serving refreshments at the top. The viewpoint can also be reached by car or public bus.

The Mörrum River is renowned worldwide for its exceptional salmon fishing, drawing enthusiasts from both near and far.
