Festa di Santa Rosalia is a grand annual festival that takes place in July. The festival, which lasts six days, is dedicated to Saint Rosalia, also called La Santuzza (Little Saint) or Rusulia (in Sicilian dialect), Palermo's patron saint, and it commemorates the miraculous appearances of the saint in 1624 when the city was hit by the plague. This festival is full of dazzling fireworks, religious processions, live music, and sumptuous Sicilian delicacies.

Those who live and work here say that you don’t really need to explain where the Jeker quarter is: Once you’re there, you’ll know. This is where the locals stroll the streets at their leisure, students read in the park, and you can spend a whole Sunday on a café terrace, a wisp of jazz music in the air in the background, and never get bored. And right through the middle of it, that impudent little river, the Jeker, flows brazenly on. The quaint streets, stately homes, and idyllic parks have everything to make history come alive, while the rich student life, mix of young and old, culinary highlights, and abundant art and culture pull you back to the present.

“Art Depot” in Szczecin is an old tram depot which was built in 1912 with reinforced concrete. It has a sloping roof and a front glass wall with a clock. Since 2006 it has been one of the biggest Polish museums of a technological profile. The collection of almost 100 antique vehicles that was bought from Leszek Liszewski is the most precious. There, you can find such curiosities as micro-car Smyk or the one and only SUV version of Fiat 126p called in Polish “maluch” (tiny). Moreover, there are trams, buses (that you can enter), motorcycles, bikes,non-typical vehicles, electronic, telecommunication and household equipment and many more.

Just a few steps away from the river Rio Pisuerga, stop by Museo de Valladolid, one of the historic sites of the city. Divided into two sections, this museum features archaeological pieces of Valladolid as well as fine arts, including painting, sculpture, furniture and tapestries.
