Carolina Rediviva was erected between 1817 and 1841 and is home to Sweden's oldest university library, founded in 1620. Originally three stories high with two mezzanines, the building now spans 12 stories and has about 5 million books and 3,500 shelf meters of handwritten documents. When you walk through the entrance of the library, you'll come to the exhibition room, where you can view the famous Silver Bible from the 6th century, musical notations made by Mozart himself, medieval manuscripts, and Olaus Magnus' Carta Marina, printed in 1539.

Budva is only about a 30-minute drive from Tivat, but it feels like a whole different vibe. The old town, with its narrow streets and ancient walls, is perfect for a leisurely wander, while the surrounding beaches are just waiting to be enjoyed. If you stick around after sunset, the town shifts into something more vibrant, with plenty of bars and restaurants buzzing well into the night.

For great city sightseeing, take the Dortmund CityTour hop on-hop off bus which includes a guided tour. You can discover Dortmund from the top deck of a red double-decker bus. One trip takes about 100 minutes, but you choose when to get off. There are twelve stops which include interesting facts, figures and stories from Dortmund´s past and present.

This affordable museum located in the beautiful Plata Unirii is located in a suggestive and recently renovated baroque building. Both the permanent and temporary collections are worth a visit, especially to have a look at the paintings of some Romanian artists, a great way to immerse yourself a bit more into Romanian culture.
