The Glasnevin Cemetery Museum is a wonderful introduction to the wealth of national history. An interactive visitor attraction offers a fascinating view of Ireland's Necropolis and the many renowned figures that shaped Ireland's complex history.

Tooley's Boatyard has been around since 1790´s and is a historic boatyard on the Oxford Canal in the centre of the town of Banbury, Oxfordshire. It is the oldest working dry dock in the Inland Waterways. It was established to build and repair the wooden horse-drawn narrow boats used for travelling up and down the newly constructed Oxford Canal network. The boatyard launched Tom Rolt's 'Cressy' onto the canals in 1939 and his book "Narrowboat" speaks about the formation of the Inland Waterways Association which ultimately led to the preservation of the canal network. Today, the boatyard includes two scheduled ancient monuments - an historic dry dock and a smithy.

Hidden between the mountains and the Yangtze River, the Fengdu Ghost City reflects Chinese views on afterlife. As a tribute to the ancestors, you can find Buddhist, Taoist and Confucian sculptures and carvings in any of the more than 27 temples. The view of the Three Gorges from the top of the mountain is also worth a visit.

To find refuge from tourist masses, head to this beautiful, secluded beach in the island's very south. Reaching the place will take around 30 minutes by car, and some patience if you're driving your own vehicle — signage isn't too clear. However, it's worth the exploration: locals love Baby Beach because it's calm and less crowded. Its waters are clean and good for swimming, and the local fauna is beautiful, featuring gorgeous tropical fish and sea turtles.
