This is a museum built on an old church where you can time travel back in time to modern age. Here you can admire prehistoric remains, great paintings from the modern area and origins of the city walls going back to Roman times. One other good thing about this museum is that it offers free entrance.

Seven generations saw the Tan Ky house remaining in the excellent condition it welcomes visitors in today, as it continues to stand as an excellent example of the confluence of cultural influences that define Hoi An. This 18th-century merchant home combines elements of Chinese and Japanese design and even features elements of European influence (such as the grape leaves carved into the courtyard balcony). The house comes furnished with original period pieces and contains a small gift shop; an open courtyard at its centre brings in light and air, creating an organic link to nature and preventing the structure from flooding (although this isn't a remedy in extremely high water).

The National Motorcycle Museum holds the world's largest collection of British motorcycles. On display is a large number of motorcycles, some 1000 plus machines, from vintage to new. Giant sequoia trees and mixed conifer forests draw countless nature enthusiasts each year. Calaveras has been a State Park since 1931, when it became apparent that the beautiful North Grove needed preserving. The Grove features the wondrous 'Discovery Tree,' also known as the 'Big Stump,' which was the first Sierra redwood noted by Augustus T. Dowd in 1852. Guided tours are offered on Saturdays.
