Pinacoteca Agnelli is an art gallery that displays art from a vast private collection. You'll find Renoir's Blonde Bather and Manet's La Négresse, as well as works by Matisse, Canaletto, Tiepolo, Canova, Picasso and Modigliani. The futuristic "crystal spaceship" pavilion is an attraction in itself. The Pinacoteca is perched on top of the Lingotto complex — the headquarters of the Italian auto giant Fiat, founded by Giovanni Agnelli. It was built as a car factory in the 1920s, and was the largest and most modern plant of its kind in Europe. A winding brutalist ramp took cars to the top of the building, where they could drive the 500 m long test track. The ramp and the test track are still in top-notch condition, but the building itself now serves a different function. While its exterior remained largely unaltered, the interior was revived to house an exhibition centre, a conference centre and auditorium, two hotels, offices and shops. The iconic ‘Bubble’ — a transparent meeting room on the roof — was also added.

The Gothenburg Botanical Garden is one of the largest botanical gardens in Europe with a strong emphasis on horticulture. Here you will find 16,000 different species in the greenhouses and beautifully arranged garden rooms. This is the perfect place to experience the change of seasons, which is typical for Sweden. Every season has its own setting within the Gothenburg Botanical Garden. On site, there is also a shop, café and a full-service restaurant.

Situated at the junction of two international rivers, Danube and Sava, Belgrade offers great opportunities for river cruising. The Confluence itself represents one of the most attractive places in the city, just below the Belgrade Fortress, and right next to the Great War Island, an oasis of untouched nature. Monserrate is a dramatically high mountain over 3,152 metres (10,000 feet) high that dominates the city centre of Bogotá. You can reach the top on foot, but be warned that it won't be the easiest trek of your life because of the altitude. Alternatively, take the cable-car or the funicular. They will safely deliver you to the church with a shrine devoted to El Señor Caído with astonishing views over the city. If you are superstitious, be warned: Colombians believe that couples who visit Monserrate together will never get married.
