The Museum of Modern Art in Chapultepec park focuses on displaying modern Mexican art, mainly from the decade of 1930 onwards. The vast collection is presented through temporary exhibitions, usually three or four at a time. MAM is without a doubt the best place to see the widest possible variety of modern Mexican art within a short span of time. Frida Kahlo fans will always find a few of her works on display. Apart from the exhibitions in the main building, you'll find a large garden with numerous sculptures and a cozy cafe to keep your energy levels up.

This museum mainly focuses on explaining how the human body functions, and even though the texts are primarily in Spanish, there are quite a few interactive exhibits that are easily accessible even to non-Spanish speakers, including kids.

Lamington National Park is World Heritage-listed and about a 2-hour drive away from Brisbane. The park’s walks take in pristine waterfalls, sections of the ancient Gondwana Rainforests and over 120 bird species that live there.

If you like shopping, the Chiang Mai Night Bazaar downtown is a must. Imbibe the Thai culture while wandering around the streets where vendors sell everything from shoes to statues. This is definitely the place to go for souvenir shopping as you can find real bargains here. Do not forget to negotiate prices.
