Perched atop a hill, the Getty Center offers visitors a remarkable art collection, including European paintings, sculptures, and decorative arts, all set within modernist architecture and surrounded by meticulously designed gardens.

Near Dubrovnik there is the archipelago of thirteen larger and smaller islands and islets known under the common name of the Elafiti. Among them, the three inhabited islands are of particular interest. Starting from Dubrovnik westwards these are Kolocep or Kalamota, as it is called by the locals, Lopud and Sipan. These islands, being a nature park, give pleasure to the eyes and soul of every traveller seeking peace and relaxation. On these islands without traffic, surrounded by turquoise blue sea, you can enjoy a walk through the forest paths, rest on sandy and stone beaches, taste fresh seafood in restaurants and taverns.

There are a lot of activities for both children and adults at Takino Suzaran Hillside Park. In the winter, you can go sledding and tubing or skiing on a gentle slope. In the summer, the park is full of pretty flowers and children can engage physically by bouncing on rubber, rolling huge red balls up the hills, exploring mazes and spider web climbing.

Hokkaido is where beer was born in Japan. This historic brewery opens its doors for a full tour and of course, sampling is a must. Sapporo Beer has been brewed here since 1877, and is one of the most popular brands in the country to-date. There is a beer garden on premises, with two restaurants.
