Take a stroll through Syracuse's history at the Onondaga County Historical Association Museum. Learn about the county's birth as well as its role in the abolition of slavery as part of the Underground Railroad before and during the American Civil War. See relics of some of the area's major past industries, including Franklin Automobile Company and Syracuse China. This is a great place to learn about the county's people and traditions.

The working citrus and pineapple plantation of Croydon is nestled in the foothills of Catadupa Mountains, which makes for a breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding countryside. Journey into the majestic, mountainous country, where lush vegetation, wild flowers, and bubbling waterfalls await.

A 20-minute drive south of Pristina lies the natural limestone cave known as the Marble Cave, once accidentally chanced upon by a local resident. Despite the research project now being financed by the EU, the cave remains largely unexplored. The entry fee is very moderate and includes a guided tour.

Place de la Concorde is an expansive square located at the eastern end of the Champs-Élysées. It holds historical importance for several reasons: the liberation struggle during World War II brought many battles to Place de la Concorde; during the French Revolution, over a thousand people were beheaded here, many of them famous: Louis XVI, Marie Antoinette, and revolutionary Robespierre, to name a few. The site is dominated by the 24-metre Obélisque de Louxor, one of Cleopatra's needles - a gift from Egyptian viceroy Mohammed Ali to Louis Philippe.
