Situated in an aristocratic 16th-century residence donated to the state by the Spinola family, this National Gallery is home to numerous famous works by the greatest Genoese, Flemish, and European artists, including a significant collection of ceramics. Visitors can admire works by Rubens, Van Dyck, il Grechetto, Valerio Castello, and many others on display here.

Soak up the nostalgia sitting back in deck chairs at the world’s oldest operating open-air picture theatre and view the latest releases. While you no longer have to lift your feet as visitors did in the early days due to tidal flooding, a night at this rustic tin shack of a cinema is a delightful new experience for every cinephile. Tickets can be purchased when the doors open, about 30 mins before the first screening.

Little Canada is a detailed miniature world in downtown Toronto, showcasing Canadian landmarks and landscapes on a small scale. The smaller-than-life museum features intricately crafted scenes from regions like Niagara, Toronto, Quebec, and the East and West Coasts, all complete with moving trains, cars, and a dynamic day-to-night cycle. One of the newest exhibits, Little North, recreates Canada’s Arctic in a climate-controlled space, complete with northern lights, igloos, and roaming caribou. Throughout the displays, visitors can discover playful vignettes and subtle humor, such as a snowmobiler taking a spill or miniature cyclists powering Niagara Falls. The experience also includes a behind-the-scenes look at the workshop where tiny figures and elements are made. For a personal touch, guests can even have a custom miniature figurine created of themselves.

The Cathedral of the Holy Cross and Santa Eulàlia, or simply the Barcelona Cathedral, is the Gothic cathedral and seat of the Archbishop of Barcelona. Its construction began in 1298 on the site of an ancient Roman temple and took more than 150 years to be completed. Located in the centre of the historic Gothic Quarter of Barcelona, the cathedral is dedicated to the martyr Santa Eulàlia – the patron saint of Barcelona – who was tortured to death in late Roman times. Her corpse is buried under the main altar. Be sure to climb to the roof for a nice view of the city, and don't forget to visit the serene and beautiful courtyard, which is occupied by thirteen white geese representing the years of Saint Eulalia's life before she was martyred.
