The Town Square, once the heart of medieval Ljubljana, is today renowned for the Town Hall and the Robba Fountain (the Fountain of the Three Carniolan Rivers), erected between 1743 and 1751 by the Baroque artist Francesco Robba. The Town Hall, built in the late 15th century, has largely retained its Baroque appearance. Regular guided tours of the Town Hall are available.

The most well-known branch of the Soumaya Museum on Plaza Carso houses the eclectic $700 million private art collection of one of the world’s wealthiest men. The glistening facade of the building with its swooping lines is a must for your Instagram feed. Inside, a spiralling ramp will lead you though several floors filled with works of European and Mexican masters. The museum's collection spans 30 centuries of art including sculptures from Pre-Hispanic Mesoamerica, Mexican art, works by European old masters and masters of modern western art such as Auguste Rodin, Salvador Dalí, Bartolomé Esteban Murillo and Tintoretto. It is called one of the most complete collections of its kind.

The museum is located in Karlshamn's cultural quarter. Here you will find the city museum, the old punsch factory, the tobacco factory, the silversmith's workshop, the printing factory, the art gallery, and the famous songwriter for children Alice Tegner's special room. Skottbergska Gården is also in the cultural quarter. It is one of Sweden’s best-preserved trading houses with roots from the late 18th century, original adornments and an apartment furnished in the style of that period.

Situated in the southern part of Karlshamn's town centre, the Maritime Museum unfolds its treasures within the walls of an ancient tobacco warehouse dating back to 1875. Within this historic setting, visitors can marvel at artefacts like an old ship fortlet from the mid-1800s, offering a glimpse into maritime history. The museum serves as a captivating portal to the rich maritime heritage of Blekinge, providing insights into the centuries-old history of shipping in the region.
