Climb up the canyon or go for a hike to cross suspension bridges and marvel at waterfalls and nature. Or — for something as rewarding but a lot less physically demanding — have a seat in the unique Air Canyon system, which catapults you straight over the canyon and allows you to observe the surroundings from a bird's perspective. The canyon is located on Highway 138, just 5 minutes from the Sainte-Anne Basilica, so both can be done within the same day.

The part of Hoi An most sought-after by visitors is its incredibly photogenic mustard-coloured Old Town, a UNESCO-listed collection of beautifully preserved buildings; some of these still function as private homes, while a total of 22 are open to the public and operate largely as museums. Of particular interest are historic merchant residences, some of which offer short guided tours (the Old House of Tan Ky is among the most interesting), and Chinese assembly halls used for gatherings and celebrations by individual ethnic groups. Located just outside Tel Aviv, the Givatayim Observatory provides an opportunity to explore the night sky and its stars. The observatory offers educational lectures and courses for both children and adults. Just outside the Connewitz quarter of Leipzig, you'll discover beautiful woods and green spaces that serve as a habitat for a variety of animals. Wild pigs are a big attraction, but the area is also home to owls, deer, geese, ducks, bison, moose and foxes. If you're fortunate, you might even spot a raccoon or a lynx. In addition to its wildlife, this area is a fantastic place for hiking or cycling.
