Below you'll find a few tips on what to see and do: - The Silver Falls (Silverfallet) The waterfall of Silverfallet is situated in the middle of the area. It is most popular during the spring but is beautiful all year round with unique fauna, nice walking tracks, and picnic spots. - Öglunda Caves and Jättadalen Carved beneath colossal fallen stone blocks, the Öglunda caves showcase captivating formations, including free-standing pillars of dolerite. These unique hollows, caves, and pillars are a distinctive feature adorning the dolerite slopes throughout Billingen. Jättadalen, a gorge sculpted by a meandering stream, is embraced by steep mountain walls. Stand atop the precipitous cliffs of Jättadalen, and you'll be treated to a breathtaking panorama of Vallebygden, stretching all the way to the majestic Kinnekulle. - Hiking in Valle In the area, there are a lot of walking tracks that take you around and in between the many small lakes. The Solitary Islands Marine Park is the third largest marine protected area in New South Wales, covering a total area of 71,000 hectares and stretching along 75 kilometres of coastline from Coffs Harbour north to the Sandon River mouth. The park is home to an incredible diversity of marine life, including tropical, temperate, and sub-tropical species of fish, coral, and algae, making it a major attraction for divers. Signage throughout the park indicates where specific activities such as diving, fishing, and collecting are permitted. Within its boundaries, the marine park includes tidal waters, estuaries, beaches, and headlands, all protected by a special zoning scheme designed to conserve fish habitats and preserve the area's natural beauty.

Known as the Venice of Portugal, Aveiro, located 57 km to the south of Porto, is a charming town surrounded by beaches, lagoons, and beautiful canals that run through it. It is easy to reach Aveiro: several trains leave Porto to Aveiro every day, and the journey takes about an hour.

Built between 1842 and 1870 on the former site of a Franciscan convent, The Stock Exchange Palace, or Palácio da Bolsa, is an impressive building in Neoclassical style, which currently houses the headquarters of the Porto Commercial Association. Classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, the Palácio da Bolsa attracts around 200,000 visitors a year, making it the most visited monument in the north of Portugal. Take a guided tour to see up close its magnificently decorated rooms, especially the Arab Room, which features the exotic Moorish Revival architecture. This room also serves as a reception hall for heads of state and personalities visiting the city.
