The Musée National de la Marine is the place to dive into Toulon’s maritime history. Learn about galley slaves, pirate attacks led by Redbeard, and a young Captain Napoleon Bonaparte, who played a key role in retaking the city from the English after the Revolution.

The Old Wastewater Treatment Plant, operational from 1906 to 1967, now showcases the evolution of architecture, technology and water management. It was a key part of Prague's modern sewer system, designed to collect and treat wastewater before discharging it into the Vltava river, significantly improving public health and aiding the city's development. Today, the site, managed by Tovarna z.ú., hosts exhibitions, concerts and themed events, featuring operational steam engines and showcasing the original machinery and craftsmanship. The plant is a National Cultural Monument of the Czech Republic, an anchor point of the European Route of Industrial Heritage, and a UNESCO candidate.

Dickenson Bay on the northwestern coast of Antigua features one of the most developed beaches on the island with various hotels and restaurants. Its waters are shallow and peaceful, ideal for families with children. One minor downside of Dickenson Bay comes from its level of development. When cruise ships arrive at the bay, the area becomes quite a busy place. Hersonissos is the epicentre of night-life in Crete, boasting numerous bars, nightclubs, hotels and restaurants. There is also a series of nice beaches and very small bays for a relaxing day on the sand. Only half an hour drive from the centre of Heraklion, the town is accessible by bus, departing from the station near the port.
