The little town of Boquete offers a good selection of restaurants catering to all tastes and budgets. Since Boquete is an agricultural town, chefs have access to the freshest organic vegetables and herbs. One praiseworthy local restaurant, The Rock, is located on the banks of the Palo Alto River, just outside of central Boquete. The large windows allow for fantastic views up the valley, and the fireplace seating area is a cosy spot at night. "Food without pretences" is their motto, and the menu focuses on locally available produce and meats. Steaks and ribs are cooked to perfection and may be accompanied by artisan beers made exclusively for the restaurant or the perfect wine. Thursday is All-You-Can-Eat Rib Night. If you are in Boquete, a meal at The Rock is a must.

The Church of St. Elizabeth dates back to the 14th century and is one of the oldest churches in Wroclaw. It is located in the Old Town and it is hard to miss, being the tallest building in the area. To reach this the top you will need to climb the 300 steps, but it will be well worth it since it offers a panoramic view of the entire city.

Place des Quinconces is one of the biggest squares in France, laid out in the early 1800s where a château used to stand. At its centre is the Monument aux Girondins—a tall column topped with Liberty, surrounded by bronze fountains mid-splash. It was built to honour the Girondin deputies executed during the Revolution. The square is wide open, lined with trees, and often hosts something: funfairs, antique markets, food stalls, or temporary exhibitions.
