One of Nha Trang's most alluring attractions is the Po Nagar Cham Towers, an actively used site of religious significance to Cham, Chinese and Vietnamese Buddhists; only 4 towers remain standing (researchers speculate there may have originally been up to 10). Constructed between the 7th and 12th centuries, the towers have a history that goes back to as early as the 2nd century AD when the location was first used for religious purposes. The complex teems with worshippers and visitors daily – you'll likely see some dozing on the hillside, others having a family picnic, and others yet enjoying a stylised performance at the on-site outdoor stage.

Bosa is a small romantic town on the west coast of Sardinia about one hour from Alghero. Stroll down the narrow streets among the pastel coloured houses. On one side of the town you will find a majestic beach and on the other side a river. The ride itself from Alghero along the sea is already worth it.

This art museum is located in the former Rosario church, next to the Cathedral, and it is the ideal setting for an array of priceless religious art. They also showcase African sacred paintings and artworks.

Platja des Cavallet is known as Ibiza’s official nudist beach, but it draws a pretty mixed crowd these days. It’s long, windswept, and backed by sand dunes, with space to spread out. There are a few beach bars, and the southern end has been a longtime favourite with the LGBTQ+ community. It’s also a good spot for windsurfing when the breeze picks up.
