This spectacular 1920s palace, once officially belonging to the country's government, is now a museum showcasing the cultural heritage and narrating the history of Pakistan via a few dozen galleries belonging to its jurisdiction to-date. Check the website for current exhibitions.

Around 90 minutes from the hustle and bustle of Shenzhen, Dapeng Fortress stands as a time capsule from the Ming Dynasty. This 600-year-old walled military village was built to protect the region from pirates, and much of its original structure remains intact. Walking through the fortress, you’ll encounter ancient fortifications, narrow alleys, and sturdy watchtowers. In 2007, Dapeng Fortress was recognised as part of UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage for its cultural significance. Today, it’s a place where you can step back into history, explore the centuries-old architecture, and imagine life as it was when pirates roamed the waters just off the coast.

Agadir Marina, a continuation of the seafront promenade, offers a variety of shops, diverse restaurants, water sports, a yachting club, nightlife venues, and modern marina facilities for 320 boats. It's the ideal spot for seaside leisure and shopping. Amidst the palm-lined bay, the marina blends luxury with tranquillity, making it a prime destination for a delightful day by the ocean.

The Maritime and History Museum of the Croatian Coast is housed in what in the past was the residence of Hungarian reagents, who controlled Rijeka from 1869 until 1918. The museum hosts permanent exhibits like archaeology, art and the original furniture of the Governor's Palace. The building itself is the first exhibit and is worth a visit.
