This scenic 2.5km walk takes you along the shoreline from the 350m long timber Shorncliffe Pier to the former Sandgate Baptist Church. It's great for dog walking, jogging, taking in the ocean and mountain views. Grab fish'n'chips from one of the local vendors and enjoy the sunset.

Once the docking site for ferries transporting cars and passengers before the Coronado Bridge opened in 1969, the park retains historical elements like the old ferry toll booth. Today, it’s a peaceful escape with lush lawns, colorful flower beds, and plenty of benches for relaxing or enjoying a picnic. Plus, it’s just steps from the Coronado Ferry Landing, making it an easy stop if you’re checking out the local shops and restaurants.
