Take a walk around Sherwood Forest, home of the famous outlaw and let your imagination run wild while you relive Robin Hood’s steps. Feeling a bit romantic? Take the chance to visit Edwinstowe Church, where the legend says Robin Hood and Marian got married.

With an area of 5.5 acres, this park houses over 150 different species from all over the world, from macaws to crocodiles to peacocks and raccoons. The park can be explored through covered walkways, which makes it enjoyable even during heavy rainfall, and children can have fun and feed the animals during the feeding sessions.

Old Market Square is one of the main shopping areas of Nottingham and very picturesque with its sitting areas, water feature and it is also here the beautiful Council House Building is located. During summer time it can get busy when the square has its own beach, food stalls and some fairground rides which is appreciated by the children.

The Daciensi Temple complex, anchored by the striking Daciensi Tower, stands as one of Xi’an’s most treasured landmarks. Originally built during the Tang Dynasty by Emperor Gaozong in memory of his mother, this historic site carries the weight of centuries. Legend has it that after the famed monk Xuanzang's epic journey to India to obtain sacred Buddhist scriptures, he returned here to translate them, setting up the temple as one of the earliest centres of Buddhist learning in China. Within the temple grounds, the iconic Dayan Pagoda (also known as the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda) draws most of the attention. Built in the 7th century, it’s an enduring symbol of China’s first female ruler, Empress Wu Zetian, and her devotion to Buddhist teachings. Architecturally, the pagoda is a masterpiece of Tang Dynasty design, and climbing its steep, stone steps rewards you with sweeping views of Xi’an below.
