Golden Sands is famous for its stunning golden sand and expansive beaches along the Black Sea. It's located 18 kilometres north of Varna, close to Golden Sands National Park. You can reach Golden Sands by public transport. Bus number 109 connects Varna city centre to the resort, although the journey typically takes a little over an hour. Taxis are also available, but they tend to be on the pricier side.

As one of the most important historical sites in Varna, it is a must-visit for history enthusiasts. This Anglesey Abbey Gardens & Lode Mill sit on 64 hectares of vast land where one can see and appreciate the simplicity of nature and its vibrant colours. Inside you can find a collection of amazing fine furnishings, books, paintings and even other fabulous objects like rare silver clocks.

If you are looking for a scenic spot to enjoy the day, drive over to the Sea Pines Forest Preserve. They offer beautiful biking and horseback riding trails near the beach as well as under the stunning palmettos and pines of Hilton Head Island. If you plan on visiting during warm weather, bring some bug spray and sunscreen, so you can stay out the whole day.
