In the heart of the city stands the stately Örebro castle, the gathering point in the city for more than 700 years. Once a simple castle for defence and prison, it was rebuilt as a royal castle during the Vasa era. Today, the castle is an open tourist attraction, with tours, exhibitions, a restaurant and a café, as well as the Örebro Läns Museum.

World-renowned magician Terry Evanswood awes audiences in Pigeon Forge as one of the area’s main attractions. Millions of people each year come to see the magic variety show—which captivates the crowd for 75 minutes of “wonders.” Evanswood incorporates magic, comedy, illusions, music, impersonations, sleight of hand and Houdini-inspired escapes into the Wonders of Magic. Within the Hall of Magic guests are welcomed to explore the timeline and history of magic in this free museum. Terry Evanswood himself provides the Hall’s tour, spanning costumes, props, artifacts, autographs, memorabilia, and more.

Home to a remarkable collection of over 70 pianos, this museum showcases everything from the oldest surviving quadrangular piano to the largest and most ancient vertical piano. The exhibition shows the entire development of the piano, and even the decorative candlesticks have more than one hundred years of history. Free performances are available during open time.

Saint Anastasia Island, the only inhabited island in Bulgaria’s Black Sea, lies 6 kilometres from Burgas and is steeped in history and legend. Once a monastery and later a prison, it now features a lighthouse, a couple of small museums, and the 15th-century Church of the Assumption with its 1802 wooden iconostasis. You can explore the island’s rocky shores, enjoy sea cuisine at the restaurant, or try herbal potions at the monastery.
