This 1-mile hike at Kaiwi State Scenic Shoreline Park takes visitors over beautiful hills to the historic Makapuʻu lighthouse, and it always provides places for having a break and for admiring the breathtaking scenery. During the winter months, it is possible to view humpback whales during their long migrations.

Located just off the main square in San Jose del Cabo is a plethora of art studios and galleries known as the Gallery District. The most popular art walks take place on Thursday evenings, November through May, when local artists make themselves available to the visiting of the public. They even serve complimentary drinks with live music.

At the junction of Nezavisimosti and Zakharava is this huge square, with a giant victory obelisk emerging from the centre. The monument has an eternal flame at its feet, which has been burning since 1954, and is accessible from an underground passageway.
