In and around Säfsen, there are 175 lakes, ponds and streams offering fantastic fishing opportunities all year round. Here, the seasoned sport fisher finds new challenges, and beginners can easily take their first step into fishing. There's also accessibility for anglers with disabilities. Agios Theologos is one of the beautiful beaches on Kos island. Also known as 'Wave Beach', this is the preferred spot for surfing and kiting.

The beaches around the Bodrum peninsula provide excellent opportunities for diving and snorkelling. With bathing boats or dolmuş, reaching them is a breeze. Bagla, located 14 km from Bodrum on the south coast, boasts fine sandy beaches, while Gümbet — just about 3 km west of Bodrum — is often the go-to for windsurfers. On the west coast, you'll discover inviting beaches at Akyar, Turgutreis, Gümüşlük and Yalıkavak. Each of these are quaint villages brimming with charming fish restaurants and popular anchorages for sailors. Don't miss Kara Ada (Black Island) Bay either, where you'll find caves hiding hot water springs.

Historic Ships in Baltimore, a National Historic Landmark, features five historic maritime artifacts: the USS Constellation, the last Civil War-era warship afloat; the USS Torsk, a Cold War submarine; the USCGC Taney, which survived the attack on Pearl Harbor; the Lightship 116 Chesapeake; and the Seven Foot Knoll Lighthouse, one of Baltimore’s oldest lighthouses. Visitors can explore these ships through guided tours, interactive exhibits, and even overnight adventures.
